By the Dua and Raza Mubarak of al-Dai al-Ajal Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS, Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra in 1431H, began a Yearly Hifz al-Quran Program for Houston. Students from across the USA benefitted from this remarkable program.

Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra on the auspicious 102nd Milad Mubarak of Syedna Muhammad Burhanuddin TUS is now accepting new admissions for the new academic year of 1434H-1435H/2013-2014.

The new academic year 1434H-1435H will begin from 13th Shawwal al-Mukarram 1434H / 19th August 2013.

Achievements 1433H


  • 3 students have completed Hifz of the entire Quran in 3 years.

  • A student in Darajah Awwala has completed 7 sipara in 4 months.

  • Last Year students received the Barakaat of Majlis al-Zikra which was followed by al-Imtehan al- Sanawi (The annual examinations held in Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah)

  • The Barakat of Mahad al-Zahra - Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah is visible in their speaking etiquettes, attire, planning and farsightedness.

  • A constant supervision has resulted in more understanding and adherence of Shariah and Saqafah Fatimiyah. The school has made special arrangements in order for them to pray Namaz during school hours.

  • Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra also constantly monitors their school grades. Students have either maintained their previously achieved grades or have been attaining better results.

  • Maintaining a sound body is one of Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra's priorities. Therefore students are scheduled to go to a local gym at least twice a week.

Goals


  • Memorize al-Quran al-Majeed in 4 Years.

  • Acquire the Barakaat of Ilm-e-Aal-e-Mohammed (as per the syllabus of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah).

  • Obtain the Barakat of tarbiyat similar to that of students in Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah.

  • Receive education at national and state recognized Schools.

  • Age: 13 years and above / 7 graders and above.

Guardianship

Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra will assume the legal guardianship of each student.

Mahad al Zahra Program Details


  • Mahad al-Zahra Classes will begin from 4:30pm and end at 8:00pm daily (Monday to Friday).
  • Mahad class duration : 3:30 hours (Maghrib namaz and dinner timings are included in this duration)

  • Hifz al-Quran Details:

    • Sanah Ula (first 5 sipara) students will have to complete the following objectives:

Murajaat : 1 sipara (apprx 45 minutes to an hour)
Juz Hali : 10 pages (apprx 15mins)
Jadeed: Max 1 page (apprx 1 hour)
Juz Hali Class: 15 mins
Jadeed Class: 15mins
Total time : 2 hours 45 minutes. (First 5 sipara.)

    • Sanah Saniyah (Juz 6 to Juz 12)
Murajaat: 2 sipara (apprx 1hour 30 mins)
Juz Hali: 10 pages (apprx 20 mins)
Jadeed: Max 2 page (apprx 1 hour) Memorizing 2 pages is optional
Juz Hali Class: 15 mins
Jadeed Class: 15mins
Total time: 3 hours 20 minutes.

  • Every student will be given an individual Hifz al-Quran planner which will be designed specifically for him according to his current Hifz location and Hifz capacity. This plan will be updated weekly.

Health and Medical Issues


  • A panel of Doctor Khidmat Guzaar will be available 24/7 for consultation.

  • In case of any major health issues of the student, Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra will contact parents and will give raza to the student till fully treated and recovered.

  • Students will be required to submit the latest medical report during enrollment.

Khidmat Guzaar Staff


  • Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra khidmat Guzaar will be available round the clock to assist students in all matters.

  • A khidmat Guzaar will stay permanently with the students throughout the year in Nuzul al- Barakat.

  • 4 Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra’s Muhaffezeen and Musaedeen will undertake their Hifz al-Quran matters.

  • A panel of Khidmat Guzaar with school and university teaching and tutoring experiences has been created to assist students with their school matters.

Enrollment procedure


  • Students will have to fill in a form online.

  • After receiving your enrollment form, Nisaab Mahad al-Zahra will contact you and schedule an admission interview.

  • After the interview students will have to attend a probation period during summer.(details of the probation period will be sent after the interview)

  • Students will receive an admission confirmation once approved and confirmed by Mahad al Zahra USA after the probation period.

  • Further instructions will be sent together with the approval email.

  • Registration will close on 10 Jumad al-Ula 1434H / 21st March 2013

Students who have not completed Darajah Ashara will be enrolled into Madrasa Ezziyah (Houston Madrasa).
